Antyage LED

ANTYAGE LED

The light therapy is a technique that uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Pure, optimized light, emitted by the device allows to execute the treatments, even on the large areas, with no need of direct contact to the skin. Therapy with chink of light is non-invasive, painless and completely safe for the patients. There are no side effect such as redness, flaking or blistering.

Mode of action:

Light reaches the light receptor into the mitochondria, called “cytochrome c oxidase”.
The final processes of glucose metabolism have a place inside the mitochondria.
The glucose reacts with the oxygen, supplied by the red corpus, and as the result it start the production of ATP ( adenosine triphosphate ), which is the cellular energy fomite.

This mechanism makes protons to move on and produce the water and an ATP as well.
These sequential reactions are the cycle of the cell’s respiration. The stimulation of fibroblast makes increased production of collagen and elastin. The elasticity of the skin increases and the wrinkles are noticeably reduced. However, their deployment is much broader : light also has an anti-inflammatory function, it can impacts on the body’s immunity in positive way, and it also contributes to body’s recovery. Therefore, the light therapy helps in treatments of acne, stretch marks, rosacea, varicose veins, age spots, herpes simplex, psoriasis, varicose ulcers and wrinkles. It also plays very interesting role to body’s healing and stimulation of hair growth.

Mechanism of the light influence for the skin:

The red led light reaches the fibroblasts, which are responsible for collagen's synthesis, elastin's synthesis, such as synthesis of hyaluronic acid. Red led light strip accelerates the healing process, enhances the effects of invasive laser treatments, plastic and general surgery, mesotherapy, peeling and microdermabrasion. It also boosts cell activity, accelerates metabolism, stimulates the skin to produce collagen proteins, and it prompts a retardation to necrose of the already existing collagen.
It is extremely effective with ulcers treating, inflammatory conditions of the skin and wrinkles reduction. It also removes the signs of sun exposure.

Blue light inhinits the development of inflammatory conditions. It accelerates a wounds and bruises healing. It heals acne with the moderate level. It is used in specialized tooth whitening kits. It is necessary in many combined therapies.
It is used, in combination with the red light, for the cystics acne's treatment. It is also used, combined with 5-Ala and Chlorophylla, for anti-acne and keratosis treatments.

Yellow light : The maximum absorption of this wave occurs in hemoglobin and melanin. Hemoglobin molecules are becoming more actively involved in the exchange of oxygen and CO2. Yellow light reduces melanin spots, telangiectasia, stretch marks and red postoperative scars.

ANTYAGE LED® utilizes the great “photo-modular” potential, offered by Light-Emitting diods (LEDS) to treat various skin conditions and improve the patient's health. The device is equipped with the most advanced RGB LEDS lamps. ANTY AGE® permits to do various treatments, using a variety of light sources (from UVB to black light).

The device is clinically proven, with the treat diseases, such as:

  • simple acne

  • acne rosacea
  • scars
  • erythema
  • hyperpigmentation
  • psoriasis
  • wrinkles and laughter lines (skin photorejuvenation)
  • diastema
  • stretch marks (long-term and short-term)
  • counteracting to alopecia (amplification and regeneration of hair cells)
  • herpesviral infections

  • acanthosis and callosity
  • accelerate the process of hard-healing wounds

Action in acne vulgaris:

Jednym z najczęstszych wskazań do zastosowania terapii LED jest trądzik zwykły, w szczególności średnionasilony grudkowo-krostkowy, ale także nasilony torbielowaty. W badaniach klinicznych wykazano podobną skuteczność przeciwbakteryjną i przeciwzapalną jak w terapii antybiotykami doustnymi, a w niektórych przypadkach - porównywalne do leczenia doustną izotretinoiną.

One of the most common indications for using the LED therapy is acne vulgaris, in particular paraffinic papillae, but also severe cysts. Clinical studies have demonstrated similat antibacterial and anti-inflammatory efficacy as oral antibiotics and, in some cases, it is comparable to oral isotretinoin therapy.
Blue light has an inhibitory effect on the growth of the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (light-absorbing porphyrins ) - one of the factors responsible for the development of acne.

Red light has an effect on the immune response, reducing the inflow of inflammatory cells. As a result, inflammation ( pimples, cysts ) heal faster.
LED therapy can be consociated with topical anti-acne medications (eg. Benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, retinoids ). It is not recommended to combine it with tetracyclines and oral isotretinoin.

TREATMENT OF THERAPY:

1) Skin preparation : removal of makeup and impurities, installation of protective goggles.

2) Light treatment – illuminate variable areas with alternately lights : blue/ red/ yellow, approximately for 10 minutes.

Therapy includes 2 treatments a week, for 4 weeks, which in total is 8 treatments.

LED technology effects:

  • increased ATP synthesis and oxygen uptake

  • activation of the redox reaction (reduction and oxidation), within the mitochondria
  • neocollagenesis

  • modulation of macrophage functions

  • DNA replication
  • improvement of neurotransmission (secretion of serotonin and acetylcholine)
  • anesthetic action : damping of the activity of the nerve fibers
  • beta-endorphin release
  • formation of new capillaries (neovascularization)

  • stimulating the receptors, responsible for burning fat
  • stimulation of prostaglandins
  • better cellular permeability
  • regulation of cell membrane potential

Contraindications for the treatment:

  • pregnancy
  • person, suffering from the serious illnesses (especially autoimmune diseases)
  • person, who has has a treatment of oral isotretinoin theraphy, during the last 6 months

  • epilepsy
