Pigmented lesions that can be treated with light (Vasculight Elite - IPL):
- melasma,
- sun spots,
- postinflammatory discolourations,

Removal of pigmented lesions - mechanism of action
In the case of pigmented lesions, the target for the light action is melanin - natural pigment that determines the colour of skin, hair and the iris, excessively accumulated in certain body areas, while in the case of tattoos - ink inserted into the dermis layer of skin. Light energy is absorbed by the pigment and converted into heat, raising the temperature of the pigment cells and thus causing their destruction.
