Fraxel re:store - fractional laser treatment for skin regeneration

The re:store is an Erbium glass laser with a wavelength of 1550 nm, launched in 2004 by an American company - Reliant Technology. Since 2008, another American company - Solta Medical, a global market leader in aesthetic treatments, especially involving skin rejuvenation and revitalization, has been producing the device.

Innovative systems of the laser:

1) proprietary Intelligent Optical Tracking® System (IOTS):
- adjusts to hand speed,
- ensures uniform treatment, distributing pulses evenly,
- maintains optimal spacing to reduce heat, eliminating the risk of skin burns.

2) the patent pending system of automatic optimization of the size of application zone for each range of pulse energy, enables reduction of the amount of heat in the surrounding tissue. As a result, patients feel almost no discomfort, while the treatments can reach up to 1,4 mm into the dermis.

The laser obtained FDA clearance and received CE Mark for the European Market, which guarantees safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
